a handful of the more 'finalized' pages from my thesis project, an 'alternative' graphic novel called "Fragments of the Infinite" (FOTI), though the whole project is still very much a work in progess, so these are also still up to change.
The graphic novel itself is the travel journal of Thorn, a young naturalist on a quest, who travels through the world she inhabits and documents the places, cultures and creatures she encounters along the way.
These pages are an excerpt from the world's creation mythology. The planet is (mostly) tidally locked, so I tried to find an interesting way that people inhabiting such a world might visualize this in their beliefs and gods. These beliefs are very important to Thorn and her character arc, as she eventually discovers that her very worldview is fundamentally untrue.
